Created by three educators who understand the impact of education. Lesson Pieces is an ever-growing library of teaching resources, games and activities designed to balance rigor and relevance and promote critical thinking. The mission is to support educators and engage students.
All Lesson Pieces resources, activities, lessons and guides are planned and created in Southern California.
WHAT IS THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE CREATION OF THESE RESOURCES?
Lesson Pieces believes it is important to let students reflect, set goals and self-assess and to appeal to a variety of learning modalities and facilitate learning experiences that consider varied learning modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile elements).
WHAT PEDAGOGICAL FRAMEWORKS HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED?
Lesson Pieces takes into account Piagetian cognitive development theory, which supports concepts and symbols from ages 2-7, concrete and logic from ages 7-12, and abstract and hypotheticals from ages 13 on.
WHAT MAKES LESSON PIECES UNIQUE?
There is much research, blood, sweat and tears that go into creating every resource. Not one resource has been created without the student in mind or the learning outcomes and teaching objectives. Each resource is worth its weight and is equipped to create an educational experience.

Lesson Pieces offers thousands of lessons. Easily downloadable as Zip files including PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and PDF files. Fully-compatible with your digital classroom such as Google Suite (PowerPoint files convert to Google Slides or Word documents convert to Google Docs).
WHAT TYPE OF CONTENT CAN I FIND ON LESSON PIECES?
Content on Lesson Pieces covers a wide range of subjects such as history, music, geography and science. You can find everything from core lessons and unit bundles to review games, activities, or assessment tools.
WHAT STANDARDS OR CURRICULUM IS ADDRESSED WITH THESE RESOURCES?
In reality, the standards or frameworks from your state or country determine a curriculum. Just like any textbook or novel, the content found on Lesson Pieces are resources to help deliver any broader curriculum to your students. In some cases, bundles of resources on Lesson Pieces could provide enough content to teach all year long (e.g. Music genre bundles or history unit bundles).

As soon as you complete the online payment, a confirmation email is sent containing a link to download the product.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE RESOURCES AFTER I HAVE DOWNLOADED THEM?
Download links, which are sent to your email, are valid for 30 days.
HOW OFTEN ARE THESES RESOURCES UPDATED?
Some resources are updated regularly to keep them current. Other resources are updated to fix broken hyperlinks or other routine maintenance.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
